As many of you know, our plans have changed (as they often do) and we will be moving to Kisumu, Kenya, on Saturday, January 23rd. My team is very excited to go there, and we know that God has been preparing us for this for a long time. As we have been preparing to leave, God has been speaking to us, and giving us words of encouragement for one another. These past two months in Uganda have been some of the hardest times of my life. We have been through it all, but it has made us stronger. One of our best weeks in Uganda, was when we traveled to True Vine Ministries in Tororo, Uganda. We were able to spend time seeing what their ministry looks like, and minister to the leaders and pastors there. It was a beautiful place and it was very peaceful (a great retreat for our tired bodies!) On our last day, they took us to Tororo Rock, and we hiked up this mountain with our friend Mateo- from True Vine. Although our whole team did not go, many of the girls went, and it was a blast. One of my biggest fears is heights, but I love to challenge myself, and this was definatly a challenge! Closer to the top of the mountain, there were three ladders that you had to climb up in order to get to a place where you could walk again. This was because it was so steep! It was so scary to be on a ladder, hanging over the side of a massive rock, overlooking the city. I prayed a lot during that time!!! It was so much fun to have that experience, definatly something I will remember. Here are some pictures of our journey!
This is a picture of my friend KC and I in Tororo! I am on the left, and KC on the right!
All of the girls at the top!
(from left to right) Brittany, Tara, Nadia, KC, Cherise, Me, and Jessica. What a view!
This was just one of the many many monkeys we saw on our journey!!! It reminds me of the monkeys we see in The Lion King!

I might not be able to post anything for a while, we will be moving to a new area, and Im not sure where there is an internet cafe. Please pray for safe travel, and good communication! Blessings to you!
